Katie Flohr - Owner & Floral Artist
Florist, Red Seal Horticulturalist and visual artist B.A.H/B.F.A Hons, Working in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Katie Flohr of The Moody Blooms: a Red Seal Horticulturalist, a formally trained Visual Artist and Art Historian from the University of Toronto and Sheridan Technical Institute. Her passion for all things wild and natural is evident in every creation. Specializing in garden style wedding and event floral installations that celebrate the changing seasons and flora in Ontario, Canada. The Moody Blooms sources as much ethically foraged and locally grown blooms as humanly possible for all projects and locally growing more of her own blooms every season.
With over 15 years of experience as a professional horticulturalist creating French style gardens and seasonal planters combined with her fine arts background has been a huge influence on her designs. As The Moody Blooms continues to evolve, Katie looks forward to future collaborations, creative projects and flowering all your special events .

November 4th 2020. Our style shoot turned real life intimate elopement of Sarah and Kate. All dried floral elements are perfectly accented by a romantic candlelit tree house for two and wedding ceremony in the forest.

Working with this wonderful team of sustainable vendors, we found endless inspiration from the natural fall beauty of Ontario, Canada. Every element of this project was thoughtfully planned and executed while being completely eco friendly. Yes it is possible to have a beautiful green wedding !
